Personal Skills
I am an organised person in both my work and time, I work well in a team or independently. I am highly motivated with creative flair and enthusiasm to produce results; I especially enjoy my work when I am able to provide help for others. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new skills to broaden my capabilities and extend my boundaries. I get on well with others and am considerate, whilst getting the task completed successfully, accurately and on time.
Previous Experience

As an Administrative Assistant to the Merchandising team I carried out order processing, data base work, system housekeeping, setting up and maintaining filing systems and other ‘ad hoc’ admin work. My responsibilities include maintaining and controlling the hard goods stock which involves communicating with the suppliers to order stock and to ensure on-time delivery. I plan the allocation and distribution of stock and monitor its levels to maintain the business and stores with optimal availability. Any problems that may occur with particular stores or product lines have to be dealt with quickly and efficiently to prevent loss of sales.
June 2004 - ‘Beside the seaside project’, Commission in Dovercourt, Essex. I was one of 12 candidates chosen in a national competition to customise the exterior of their seaside beach huts to attract tourism to the area.
Spring 2000 - Chessell Pottery, Chessel, Isle of Wight. I performed voluntary work as a studio workshop assistant; casting, hand decorating, joining and glazing pottery.
Dec 1999 to Aug 2001 - That Shop, Cowes, Isle of Wight. I was a shop assistant selling collectibles and antiques.
